* A study by J.D. Power and Associates shows that as the price of wireless service continues to drop, more consumers than ever are subscribing. Currently 52 percent of households in the 25 largest U.S. markets use wireless phone service. At the same time, the reported average cost per minute is 14 cents, compared with 56 cents in 1995.
