MOBILE BROWSING ADDITIONAL SUPPORT CLIENT SERVER Bitstream announced the availability of version 1.10 of ThunderHawk. The release adds support for the HP iPAQ 4xxx series of Pocket PCs as well as most MDA II and XDA II Pocket PC devices, including i-mate, 02, Qtek 2020 and T-Mobile devices.
ThunderHawk is Bitstream's mobile browsing technology that allows anyone with an Internet or wireless connection to browse the Web. A client-server technology, Thunder Hawk relies on a server infrastructure combined with a small piece of thin-client code on the actual handheld device. The server transmits Web content in a compact format to mobile devices, making fast and full-featured wireless Web browsing possible, Bitstream says. ThunderHawk supports...
