Forecast looks bright.(By the Numbers)

Here's the good news: Worldwide wireless operator service revenue will surpass $698 billion on an annual basis by 2009, according to the Yankee Group's Global Wireless/Mobile Premium Forecast. The firm says data services will account for just over 21 percent of the total.
If that's not enough to look forward to, other projections include:
* Worldwide, total registered cellular lines will reach 2.8 billion in 2009, representing a unique user base of nearly 2.4 billion individuals.
* Ringtone revenue to carriers and content providers will reach almost $28 billion ...
