GMIPolls, produced by Global Market Insite, asked U.S. consumers which electronics technology would affect their lifestyle the most in the coming year. Perhaps it's no surprise - wireless topped the list. Following are the results; panelists could choose more than one answer.

Wireless technology (such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Internet-capable PDAs): 49 percent

Mobile devices: 37 percent

Home entertainment equipment: 35 percent

Home/office productivity software (such as finance, tax): 26 percent
