Wireless operators are fine-tuning their mobile TV lineups with exclusive content and original programming. Broadcasters say they are more than happy to oblige.

Cingular Video, V CAST and Sprint TV - such names may one day be as familiar to consumers as entertainment destinations on the mobile phone as ABC, CBS, NBC, HBO or ESPN are on the TV set.

It may seem like a stretch of the imagination that these mobile TV offerings could soon be as popular as traditional television, but wireless operators and programmers are certainly bullish about mobile TV's potential.
