Prisa, Spain's biggest media company, has finally found a way into terrestrial TV, on its home turf and in Portugal. On July 22, Prisa announced an option on 46% of Portugal's Media Capital, which owns the country's top-rating commercial broadcaster, TVI. Just a week later, Spain's Socialist government authorized its first major TV station in 15 years: Sogecable's terrestrial broadcaster Cuatro.
