Argentinian producer Ana de Skalon died of breast cancer Feb. 17 in Havana. She was 53. De Skalon was director of news and nonfiction programming at Argentina's pubcaster Canal 7 and on the board of directors of Telesur, a South American state news net spearheaded by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to compete with CNN.
