PMDN AND PMA PROJECTS APPROVED BY BKPM IN FIRST AND SECOND WEEKS OF JULY 2001.(Brief Article)

In the first and second weeks of July, 20001, the Capital Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) issued license to at least 8 PMDN projects. The largest among the project was that of PT Dharmapala Usaha Sukses with a planned investment of Rp 194 billion. The company plans to operate in sugar manufacturing industry with an annual production capacity of 250,000 tons of refined sugar in addition to 15,000 tons of molasses. The project to be built in Gresik, East Java, will employ 350 Indonesian workers.
The second largest project was that of PT Trans Riau Pipeline, which plans to develop and operate oil pipeline and supporting facility. The pipeline project will be built in Indragiri Hulu, Riau, with an investment of Rp 108...
