The Indonesian Anti Dumping Committee (KADI) has completed investigation of dumping charges against some imported products of wheat flour. Based on the report submitted to the finance ministry, the government plans to slap anti dumping duties ranging from 15% to 30%. The plan is to be officially announced on September 22, 2001. The date could not be postponed because of the time limit set by the WTO.

The imposition of the sanction was based on a request from the domestic producers. The charges were against suppliers from countries, but after investigation only three countries were found involved in the dumping charges. They are the European Union, the United Arab Emirates and Australia.
