1. ANTI DUMPING DUTY REIMPOSED ON INDONESIAN EXPORTS OF BICYCLES TO THE EUROPEAN UNION.(European Commission reimposes anti-dumping duty on imports of bicylces from Indonesia)(Government Activity)(International Pages)

The European Commission has reimposed anti dumping duty on imports of bicyles from Indonesia. The sanction, slapped on Indonesian bicycles in 1996 was to end last April. But upon requests from local producers the Commission extended the surcharges ranging from 21.9% to 28.4%.
The Commission is infact still investigating the dumping charge filed by the local producers. The Indonesian producers have filled questionnaire and returned it to the European Commission late May. But the Commission has not officially decided whether or not dumping had been committed by Indonesian producers during that caused injury to the local producers in Europe the period of investigation.
