Agis to acquire two electronic companies.(CORPORATE NEWS IN BRIEF)(PT TT Indonesia )(PT Akira Indonesia)(Brief article)

Publicly listed distributor of electronic products and telecommunication equipment said it will acquire three other electronic companies. The process of acquiring PT TT Indonesia, PT Akira Indonesia, both subsidiaries of TT Corporation, which is listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, is expected to be completed in July or early August, Agis President Johny Kesuma said.
Johny said Agis will become the majority shareholders and parent company of both TT Indonesia and PT Akira Indonesia. The two companies post a total income of Rp 800 billion a year. With the acquisition Agis will expand to become the largest distributor of electronic goods in the country, Johny said. TT Indonesia is a distributor of electronic products.
