In our efforts to conserve energy and create comfortable environments in which to live, work, and play we have brought indoors what was once only an outdoor problem - pollution.
Homes and offices today are sealed more tightly, saving energy, reducing utility bills and helping to maintain consistent temperatures throughout the buildings. Unfortunately, tighter seals also trap molds, pollen, bacteria, and other pollutants inside, reducing indoor air quality and exposing building occupants to potential health hazards.
