Evergreen Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ:ESLR), Marlboro, Mass., a developer, marketer, and manufacturer of photovoltaic (solar power) products for the worldwide market, has successfully completed a prototype research project for its proprietary String Ribbon(TM) technology for manufacturing solar cells, enabling the growth of four silicon ribbons from a single furnace.
