Progress Energy Florida, Lakewood High School and the Florida Department Environmental Protection (DEP) have unveiled a new photovoltaic (PV) project at the Pinellas County school.

The project is part of the SunSmart schools program, a statewide initiative to install 29 solar electric systems in schools throughout the state.
