COGEMA ENGINEERING AWARDED HANFORD SITE CONTRACT.

AREVA's subsidiary, COGEMA Engineering Corporation (CEC), has received a contract from Bechtel National Inc. to design, fabricate and test an extraction equipment system for use at the Waste Treatment Plant at the U.S. Department of Energy's Hanford Site near Richland, WA.

The contract, valued at nearly $465,000, is the second Waste Treatment Pl ant contract awarded to CEC. The work will be performed from June 2004 through January 2007 with subcontractor Thompson Mechanical.
