FLORIDA'S LARGEST CEMENT PLANT TO INCREASE PRODUCTION.

Florida Department of Environmental Protection has approved a 37 percent increase in the production of clinker at Titan America's Pennsuco plant. This will enable cement production to increase to 2.4 million tons per year, serving Florida's growing needs. The facility is the largest in Florida, the cleanest in the state and one of the world's most modern.

When opened in June 2004, the new cement plant in Medley doubled its former capacity without raising emissions, and helped supply a booming Florida construction market hampered by product shortages and imports dependency.
