Cemtrex Inc., Farmingdale, N.Y., is pursuing the emissions monitoring market for marine ships and cruise lines for measurement of nitrogen oxide and smoke.
The International Maritime Organization (IMO) adopted Annex VI of MARPOL that provides regulations for the prevention of air pollution from ships. The Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC) of the IMO subsequently passed several subsidiary regulations.
