PEERLESS AWARDED CONTRACT FOR AIR POLLUTION REDUCTION.

Peerless Mfg. Co. (NASDAQ:PMFG), Dallas, was awarded a contract valued at approximately $2.3 million for the design and supply of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems for the reduction of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from four bio-fuel fired boilers. The SCR systems will be installed on the bio-fuel fired boilers located at a processing plant in Iowa. The equipment is scheduled for delivery in the second and third quarters of fiscal year ending June 30, 2008.
