Watch and Jewellery Dubai 2005 set out to impress. With its new name, new venue, and an extended profile, its goal was to build on the success of its predecessor, International Jewellery Dubai, which held ten editions. The organizers of the fair, the Dubai World Trade Centre, made the move as part of an ambitious plan to include watches along with jewelry, and to establish the event as one of the premier exhibitions on the international calendar.
