Tucson shows hail bright days ahead for gem biz.(Fairs & Events)

Few vendors we spoke to during the annual gem and jewelry shows in Tucson, Arizona in February had anything negative to say about the gem and pearl business. The mood was upbeat, sales for many outdid all-time Tucson highs, and color is the single biggest trend. Gem wholesalers say that retailers are finally realizing the joys of color to boost profits and distinguish businesses in a crowded marketplace.
