David Lin, owner of T.S. Lin & Sons, arguably one of the world's top firms for high-end jade jewelry, doesn't just design and sell jade, he bets his life on it. "The best stones comes from an area I call 'no man's land,'" says Lin, speaking about the border area between Burma, Thailand, and China that is called the Golden Triangle. "I always feel like I'm in danger there," he continues, "because life means nothing in that part of the world, but jade is highly prized."
