OMET was founded in 1963 by Angelo Bartesaghi. Besides manufacturing narrow web equipment, OMET is also famous for paper converting machines for napkin and tissue markets. The company today has offices in Germany, Spain and China. Matik North America provides sales, parts and service from its facility in Connecticut, USA.
MAJOR PRODUCTS
The new X-Flex raises the benchmark for press performance in narrow web presses. Featuring a "straight-thru" web path, the shortest in the industry, the X-Flex produces the lowest waste of any press (only 30m/98' of waste on an 8-color press). It also features OMET's proven Gearless-Shaftless sleeve design. The gearless anilox system provides for rapid changeovers.

Varyflex: The most technologically advanced narrow web press, offers exclusive OMET electronic web control system and GEARLESS and SHAFTLESS technology. This combined with the exclusive sleeve-change system, enables the press to print on any substrate with rapid and easy job changes.
Flexy: Narrow web flexographic printing press with modular structure, reduced in size, designed for label printing and printing and converting of board and flexible packaging substrates. Flexy is available in an electronic version Flexy S, with brushless servomotors, offering a solution to problems associated with torsional stiffness and clearance transmission.
The Twin Cut diecutting unit allows making labels in different formats without replacing the magnetic cylinder with automatic register control between diecut and print. Available on Flexy S, X-FLEX and Varyflex presses.
COMBINATION PRINING OPTIONS
OMET has introduced interchangeable printing technologies for its equipment that includes silk screen, cold foil, hot foil, holograms and rotogravure.
