There's a shortage of the new PowerBooks. Apple's reorganizing its corporate structure again. Wall Street predicts Apple's imminent demise. These are all, of course, predictable events, perennial as peonies, and they can mean only one thing: it's holiday time again.
Naturally, I wouldn't miss my annual opportunity to suggest a few items that your Mac-loving friends, relatives, and coworkers would be delighted to find under the Christmas tree, menorah, or Buddha. As in the past seven years, the rules are simple: nothing over $50, and nothing cheesy, buggy, or predictable.
