Sumitomo's Anti-Vibration X-Bar for deep-hole boring features a special dampening mechanism that eliminates chatter, resulting in extremely fine finishes and extra long tool life. Ideal for extended overhangs, the product provides smooth finishes at up to 6X the length to diameter. In addition, the X-Bar is ideal for step boring, bottom facing and copying. They are coolant thru and available with CCMT, TCMT and TPMT style inserts in a wide variety of chipbreakers including the new ELU and ESU.
