Patricia Vance has been named to the Calabasas-based Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences' board of directors. Vance currently serves as president of the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB), where she is responsible for the oversight and enforcement of the computer and video game industry's self-regulatory practices.
In her new role as a board member with the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, Vance will work to promote awareness for the art and science of interactive games and entertainment. Vance is an interactive media veteran and previously served an 18 year tenure with Disney/ABC.
