When Eve Strella quit her corporate job two years ago to join her former boss in founding their own consulting firm -- The XLR8 Team -- it wasn't the first time she'd taken a leap. After all, she's a former champion equestrian. And industrial engineering wasn't her first career.
Before she became an IE, Strella worked for 11 years as a certified expanded duties dental assistant. "I just naturally rearranged the offices to suit my needs from a time-and-motion standpoint," she remembers. Her late husband, David Strella, was an industrial engineer with Eastman Kodak.
