Remstar's Shuttle Vertical Lift Module makes use of CubeStar, an automated high-density system that pairs hardware and controls to maximize storage space. The system measures each tray of the lift module to determine its storage requirement. The control system also determines the best position in the unit based on the least amount of space used and the fastest retrieval system.
CubeStar is designed to increase density through its ability to measure each tray's profile to the nearest inch.
