Why should you care about quantum uncertainty? Measurement is of vital importance to the practice of industrial engineering. Furthermore, many industrial engineers work closely in academia and industry with scientists and engineers of other disciplines. Thus, we need to understand how quantum mechanics does, and does not, affect measurement and the practice of our professions.
