Tefen co-sponsors graduate paper competition.(Brief Article)
IIE Solutions, September, 2001
Tefen, an international operations consulting firm specializing in industrial engineering and systems analysis, will co-sponsor with IIE the Graduate Student Competition of Excellence in Industrial Engineering for 2002. Competing teams, made up of three masters and doctoral degree students, assume the role of an IE consulting group hired to solve a problem presented by a fictitious client.
The problem will be in the form of a case study with an open-ended solution; no limitations will be placed on the tools, methodologies, or algorithms used. The team that provides the most efficient and effective solution wins the competition.
