CARSON, Calif. -- Realizing that store brand versions of the leading over-the-counter drugs include the same dose of medicine as their branded counterparts, 20 of the leading chain drug and other mass retailers are offering store brand alternatives to McNeil Pharmaceutical's Tylenol Geltabs and Whitehall-Robins' Advil Liquigels developed by Leiner Health Products.
