FARMINGTON, Conn. -- Double-digit revenue growth and cost-cutting measures allowed Familymeds Group Inc., the successor to DrugMax Inc., to slash both its operating and net losses for the third quarter of fiscal 2006. An earlier onetime gain on the early extinguishment of debt edged the company into the black for the nine-month span. Although it missed its EBITDA goal for the quarter, management felt encouraged to reconfirm its previous full-year guidance.
