SDM appoints Lukow CFO

TORONTO -- Bradley Lukow has become executive vice president and chief financial officer of Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM). He succeeds George Halatsis, who has resigned from the Canadian drug chain to pursue another career opportunity.

Lukow is a veteran SDM employee with more than 14 years in senior financial positions with the company.

He joined SDM in 1994 and was promoted to senior vice president in 2000. The following year, as the most senior finance executive at that time in the company, Lukow led SDM s successful initial public offering.

Halatsis joined the company in 2002 as executive vice president and CFO.
