Dan Kerpelman has been designated president and chief executive officer of Bio-Optronics. He recently acquired a majority of the shares of the Rochester, N.Y.-based health care technology company. Kerpelman previously held executive positions with such companies as GE Healthcare and Eastman Kodak Co. He plans to lead Bio-Optronics through expanded product offerings in new markets.
