Namdeb sales up 16 percent in first half.(Facets)

Namdeb has posted a banner first half of 2004, with diamond sales up 25 percent in weight terms to 810,000 carats and 16 percent in dollar terms to N$1.7 billion (U.S. $256 million), according to The Namibian newspaper. Namdeb is jointly owned by De Beers and the government of Namibia.
