Jovella 2006 reports higher numbers, but disappointment over lack of co-ordination with WDC.

Israel's 3rd annual international jewelry trade fair, JOVELLA 2006, held at the David Intercontinental Hotel in Tel Aviv June 27-28, featured 160 jewelry manufacturers, 30 percent more than last year, and 11,000 trade visitors, a 10 percent increase from last year. While the show was rated an overall success, there is disappointment in the industry that more was not done to promote Jovella among attendees of the 32nd World Diamond Congress (WDC), which was held in Israel for the first time in 10 years and whose dates coincided with the Jovella show.
