Pads for vehicles

Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing has recently announced the arrival of the Pads (Power Accessory Distribution System) drop-in power source for military vehicles. The Pads delivers 110 Vac, 12 Vdc and 5 Vdc power outlets to run myriad electronic devices in 28 Vdc power-based vehicles without compromising the vehicle's equipment complement. The system was designed for use in harsh environments and requires only 35.5 x 15.2 x 7.8 cm installation space. The Pads is submersible (with connector caps in place), circuit breaker protected and can be customised for unique installation requirements.
