Tricorbraun executive speaks at Poly Pack

* George W. Dempsey Jr., TricorBraun executive vice president, provided insight on international outsourcing at the California Polytechnic State University annual packaging symposium earlier this month. Mr. Dempsey coordinates TricorBraun international procurement strategy and has individually specialized in Asia.

Referred to as Poly Pack, the three-day packaging symposium has been conducted since 1987 at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, Calif. It provides a forum for students, faculty and industry professionals to share information about packaging technology and trends.

In addition to managing TricorBraun's international procurement program, Mr. Dempsey oversees more than $300 million in domestic customer sales and is responsible for sales management and the company's financial performance for the central and western United States. He also is accountable for the development and implementation of operational plans for mergers and acquisitions.
