Industry: Email Alert RSS FeedSCC Annual Technology Showcase deadline is Sept. 15
Household & Personal Products Industry, August, 2008
* The Committee on Scientific Affairs (COSA) has issued a call for participation for the 2008 Technology Showcase, which will be held in conjunction with the SCC Annual Scientific Meeting, Dec. 11-12 at the New York Hilton. The showcase combines the details of a scientific poster session with the pragmatic directness of a commercial exhibit (trade names, demonstration prototypes and supportive literature presented).
Participants are invited to present their information in a poster format to include experimental data, graphs, illustrations/photos and prototypes on the technical attributes of the featured product or technology. Complete trade names as well as the INCI nomenclature is requested for ingredients. More comprehensive information on the poster presentations will be made available after the abstracts have been accepted.

Abstract cover sheets can be obtained at www.scconline.org. The abstract and cover sheet should be e-mailed to bcowen@scconline.org. They can also be mailed to SCC Technology Showcase, 120 Wall Street, Suite 2400, New York, NY 10005.
Abstracts will be reviewed on a "first come-first served" basis as poster space is limited. There is a flat fee of $1,000 per poster, which does not include any meeting registration fees. Company representatives will be required to register for the annual meeting. Notification of acceptance will be made by Oct. 15. More info: www.scconline.org.
