Formulations at Lonza achieve EPA registration

Lonza received U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registration for several formulations to effectively inactivate H5N1 "bird flu" virus that has spread across Asia and Europe.

The company's formulations--used to clean, sanitize and disinfect hard non-porous surfaces--were shown to inactivate the virus, precluding its spread.
