Many authors report different opinions about timing, surgical techniques and rehabilitation programmes after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears. In our opinion, modern rehabilitation must include pool, gym and especially on-field exercises, which must be considered as a cornerstone of any accelerated programme.
