On-field rehabilitation for accelerated return to competitive soccer after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.(Part VI: sports medicine)

Many authors report different opinions about timing, surgical techniques and rehabilitation programmes after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears. In our opinion, modern rehabilitation must include pool, gym and especially on-field exercises, which must be considered as a cornerstone of any accelerated programme.
