Jerry Pierce, president of Restaurant Equipment World, Orlando, Fla., has been invited to join the NSF task group created to develop industry standards for foodservice facility design. The group will also be working on developing industry standards for food equipment installation. NSF International, founded in 1944 as the National Sanitation Foundation, is known for the development of standards, product testing and certification services in the areas of public health, safety and protection of the environment.
