Kansas, City, Mo.-based QualServ has left Allied Buying Corp. and joined the EDI Marketing Group.
The transition went into effect on Jan. 1. By bringing QualServ into its ranks, annual group sales to operators by EDI members will now total between $850 and $900 million, according to Bill Byrne, EDI's executive director.
"In dealing with the management team thus far, including QualServ President Chuck Rowe, I'm extremely impressed with their organization," said Byrne. "I think they're going to be an excellent fit with EDI, given our similar philosophies of focusing on strong supplier relationships and strategic planning processes."
