Garden City, N.Y.-based Win-Holt Equipment Group acquired Southern Perfection Fabrication, located in Byron, Ga. Gordon Hale, president and owner of Southern Perfection, will remain with the firm as president of Win-Holt's Southern Perfection operation.
According to Howard Lind, president and CEO of Win-Holt, the acquisition enables the company to better serve its customers in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, as well as the firm's national accounts.
With the purchase, Win-Holt now has manufacturing facilities in California, Georgia, Texas and New York. "It makes us a truly national company," said Lind. "We can serve our customers across the country and help reduce their freight and logistics costs."
