Marval makes switch, puts Valero on investment dressing route
NEW YORK - In response to a market increasingly concerned with investment dressing, Marval Import Corp., manufacturer and importer of Martinez Valero footwear, has altered its fashion direction.
Allan J. Cartun, general manager, said the change could increase the company's account base by .25 percent and double its business in three to five years.
Valero built its reputation on high heels in bright, color-blocked looks - shoes a woman bought for one specific outfit. But more women today are concerned with versatility in their footwear wardrobes and are also looking for something more classic and understated, said Cartun, who came to Marval last August after six years with...
