Reebok is bringing athletics to Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO - Reebok International Ltd., Stoughton, Mass., recently became the first to import top-of-the-line athletic shoes to Brazil.

RBK, Reebok's Brazilian distributor, has placed orders for 110,000 pairs of athletic shoes from Reebok's South Korean factories. The models include two cross-training styles, two running and two tennis. RBK also ordered a women's style in each of the three categories.

The shoes will be about $140-$150 a pair, suggested retail, twice their cost in the U.S. The cross-training styles include a $200 Pump.
