Hose firms, mills contribute gun covers to Gulf soldiers

WASHINGTON (FNS) - U.S. hosiery manufacturers and yarn mills are donating gun covers to Operation Desert Storm after learning that troops in the Persian Gulf had been using long socks and pantyhose to keep sand from jamming their rifles.
