LOS ANGELES - Adam Derrick, president of To Boot New York, has found a way to service special customers with a special service.

Custom shoemaking, usually found in Europe, has come to Los Angeles at To Boot's leased men's shoe department in I. Magnim, Beverly Hills, which introduced the department in September. The service has been offered at To Boot's leased men's shoe department in Bergdorf Goodman Men, New York, for more than a year.

To Boot hired shoemaker Michael Rollig of Bespoke Shoemakers Vienna to take over from English shoemaker John Lobb, who was first hired to service To Boot's bespoke shop in Bergdorf Goodman Men. Derrick said John Lobb, who worked for To Boot for about a year, decided to...
