Reebok CEO Paul Fireman and Nike CEO Phil Knight plan to meet to discuss a monitoring system for the footwear industry manufacturing sites which would encourage improvements in human rights conditions for workers worldwide. Fireman recently wrote a letter to Knight discussing the possibility of a summit and collaboration on new standards and monitoring of factories. The two industry leaders have not yet worked together.
