Stride Rite Corp. has announced a licensing deal with Levi Strauss & Co. to develop and market a line of casual footwear. The footwear line will be designed for consumers aged 14-22 and will include casual shoes, sport shoes, hiking shoes, and boots priced $55-$100 a pair. The recent contract is the third licensing agreement signed by Stride Rite in the past three months. The successful partnership with Tommy Hilfiger earned Stride Rite $20 million from shoe sales within the first six weeks.
