It's not just the location, the quality service and the cappuccino bar that attract floods of women to Anbar Shoes in New York. They also come for the excellent deals on designer footwear from all over the world.

With a bare-bones, industrial-warehouse appearance, Anbar is located on Manhattan's Reade Street, not far from the Brooklyn Bridge. The 6,000-square-foot, two-level store boasts 12,000 pairs of shoes that are stacked in boxes on steel shelves. According to owner Alan Vogel, it takes most women about an hour to walk through and survey the selection of merchandise.
